I haven't run yet since Sunday, but that is on the schedule for lunchtime today. I am also signing up for my first race of the year. It will be the Cold Feat 10K next month. It's a trail run set in the same area where we do our team runs, so familiar territory. I am just excited to wear my first bib of the year.
I was going to start studying last night, but I was drawn to my DVR and the second half of the Biggest Loser premiere. I am huge Jillian fan so I am sad that the white team is already down to 2 people, but I am not counting them out yet. So, with that, studying will commence this evening. I am going to start from the beginning (since I remember nothing from before Sandy) and try my best to follow the ACE 12 week study program. I have been out of school for 15 years, so I need a guide on the best way to study. I want this now more than ever and I will make it happen. (Say it, do it!)
Aside from that, I am just trying to get the family life organized. We have a routine now and just need to start eating more home cooked meals, even if that means I cook more. If hubby is reading this: yes, that is a
I think the reason I am so driven, aside from it being January and all, is that there are so many things that I cannot control, regarding my house, etc... I need to be prepared for anything and this is how I am doing that. After all, I am Supermom. :)
Take it slow! Slow and steady...
ReplyDeleteI remember that calendar quite well . Everytime I seen it there was something written on everyday of the week and sometimes 2 and 3 things on the same day. Remember to write on that calendar at least a half a day a week to take for yourself to do something you didnt do pre sandy.... thats take some time for yourself... As for Post Sandy (this ones for you Pete) you guys need some food and I dont mean take out. You need to start eating the way you did before and figure out how to make that happen at least 5 out of the 7 nights a week this will also bring another little sense of normalcy back into you and the kids life. its the little things like that calendar that will bring back some normalcy out of this "CRAZY LIFE" you now live. Just take it one calendar day at a time ! love you
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely a super mama! An awesome one at that. I am loving The Biggest Loser too. My favorite is Dolvett though but I do love me some Jillian.
