Marathon To Dos


  1. Prepare marathon outfit including baggage and food.
  2. Make plans for spectator spots and post-race meet up.
  3. Handle babysitter logistics for kids from Saturday night through Sunday afternoon.
  4. Sleep more!
  5. Run less.
  6. Get and stay healthy.
  7. Make a 5 hour (just in case) playlist.
  8. Secure ride to start (No need to secure early morning bus = Benefit of living on Starting Staten Island).
  9. Check for any logistics changes on the website, etc.
  10. Think positive thoughts!

  1. I am getting NY marathon jitters and thats for running it in 2013.
    You are doing great getting ready for the race. Just stay healthy and most of all stay happy!!!
    I always buy a new pair of Thurlo socks for each race. How are your sock?
