November 4, 2012

Firstly, congrats to all the marathon finishers and PR crushers that killed it on Sunday.  You guys are all awesome.  And I want in!  I was supposed to run beside all of you but my body decided this was not my year.  I'm over it though.  Now the countdown begins.  In 361 days, I will be running 5 boroughs in one day.  Because I deferred from this year, I am guaranteed entry.  So, now I wait.  See you then finishline.

For now though, I need to find some focus.  Being injured has been painful to my body and my mind.  I am thankfully still able to work out.  I just need to be mindful of what my body should and shouldn't do right now.  Herein lies my issue.  Running is my go-to.  I just do it and right now that is one of the main things that I cannot be doing.  So, I am going to try to be nicer to the elliptical and even give the bike a shot.  I need focus though.  I need a plan.  My workouts are boring me and my food is out of control.  Halloween candy will be the death of me.

I need a plan.  More importantly I need a mom-friendly plan.
Is there an Elmo bootcamp?  That one we could do together.
Something I can honestly commit to wholeheartedly.  I would love to do a bootcamp but time and location always seem to be an issue.  (Staten Island really is the lost borough of NYC.)  Here's where you come in, help!  Any suggestions on plans, virtual trainers, programs that worked for you?

  1. I'm no help....I feel the older Logan gets the worse I am at exercise. I'd ask katy @ fit in heels :D
