And this was after we cleaned most of the stuff off of it!!
Ah the joys of children taking over the livingroom!
Dining room turned Hurricane Irene storage space
The infamous corner of the bedroom pile
And of course there is ALWAYS laundry to do. (Most of it was already in the laundry room.)
Then I had a belated birthday lunch with my besties. My best friend and I have known each other since we were five. And then we added another friend in high school and kept her as well. We had yummy lunch
and then hung out at her house watching Bridemaids (hilarious!) and eating ColdStone cupcakes. We had 2 of each and we each had half of each one. I prefer the cake batter one and not just because it's pink. After a few hours (so not enough time in the day for friends as a grown up), I went to my sister's and babysat for my newborn nephew while she and her husband slept for an hour or 2. It was great quality time with my little peanut and I even managed to put this together in the ten minutes that he slept. I know I know, call me Bob Villa!
My excellent craftsmanship :)
So, I then picked up the kids at my mom's and got them home and in bed and then realized I didn't eat dinner and had a 14-16 mile run the next morning. Oops! Thank god for cereal. It's not the card loaded pasta I should have eaten hours prior, but it was better than nothing. I also chugged a tall glass of NUNN-infused water before bed.
I got up at 5am on Sunday and started my 16 miles. It was humid and it was not fun and I didn't have enough food with me. Two annoying random creepy guys yelled out the window at me. I HATE THAT! Anyway, I ran really slow.
Only hoping it was an off-day due to the cereal and lack of proper preparation.
The rest of day was cleaning some more, yummy steak dinner and alot of 9/11 themed crying.
So, now that we are caught up, my question is - how do you feel after a long run? Cuz I still feel crappy from Sunday. Waaaaa!
