Slacker

We had to go to a wedding rehearsal/dinner last night and therefore did not get home until late, well it's was almost 11 and that's late for me on a week night. I had every intention of getting up to run this morning and yet my body disagreed. It won. I then kept the pipe dream of making up that run all day today. I knew it couldn't happen at lunch because I have 6 miles on the schedule and that is not happening in my lunch break. I even brought clothes just in case I could run right after work.  Well, I'm now on the bus heading to SI to pick up baby girl (read: no run happening). So, it looks like tomorrow morning I'll have to make it up.

The day is not a loss for fitness though. I did get a good weights workout in at lunch. It was a much needed break from a very stressful, busy week at work.  Also, I'd like to throw something in tonight after the kids are in bed - maybe pilates - but we'll see.  I'm already falling asleep on the bus as I type.

  1. it's hard to balance working out, life and being a mom. I have a hard enough time fitting everything in and I'm not even at the millage you are. BLAH! I wish there were personal trainers in our pockets all day long yelling at us to do stuff ..
